In reaction to this loss, so many of you wrote to express your outrage. We thank you all for this and for your support for the conservation mandate of the SMWS. Your attendance at the November 4th on-site memorial, to bear witness to this loss, was also appreciated, as was the great showing in the numbers of you who deemed it important enough to be there! With the municipal elections fast approaching, you each have an opportunity to further communicate your interests and to question candidates regarding where each stands on environmental values. Please take a moment on November 15th and ensure your voice is heard. And, thank you again for your support of the SMWS.
