Location: Somenos Lake Drinkwater Dock 

Join the Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society as we lead a leisurely BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat) 4-hour circumnavigation of Somenos Lake. The tour will involve speakers aboard the HMCS Somenos who will present information about the environment, nature and history of the S’amunu watershed. The tour will also include a visit. to Somenos Creek, an invasive plant hotspot, currently occupied over 80% of its length by the Amazonian plant, Parrots Feather. Dress for the weather and bring snacks, water and your binoculars or long lens cameras. Kayaks, canoes, and electric motors are welcome.
